this is my
"costume" i wore last halloween. yes, i was quite
the life of the party until the cops arrested me for illegally
modifying a piece of LADOT equipment.

i'm nathan
campbell. i draw for a living.
originally
i'm from seattle, washington. home of the banana slug. i
happen to be one of those eurasian hybrids, my mother is
chinese/vietnamese and my pops is german/scottish. i moved to
the los angeles area because i was accepted to Art Center
College of Design as a transportation design student. after a
couple of terms there i realized that i really didn't want to
design cars for a living, so currently i'm on an extended
hiatus working at a entertainment development company and
doing freelance design & illustration...maybe one of these
days i'll go back..
all of the artwork on this site was
done as personal work. with the exception of a few drawings done
at Art Center.
also,
all the stuff is either Primsa Color or Ad marker,
with colored pencil, on marker paper, sketchbook
paper, or whatever was lying around.
